GRIPTHAN
Description
- Polyurethane elastomer with low Young's modulus and hardnesses ranging under 90 Shore A
Important properties
- especially highly elastic
- high coefficient of friction
- can be exposed to dynamic loads
- extremely wear and tear resistant
- no chalking
- high tear propagation resistance
- low compression set
- temperature range from -40°C (-40°F) to +80°C (176°F), for short intervals up to 100°C (212°F)
- good resistance against mineral oils, grease, petrol and ozone
Preferred use and possible fields of application
Especially as tire for rollers and wheels which are subject to dynamic loads and require a high tear propagation resistance or a high ground adhesion and stability in curves, also on wet floors.
